About inBiot inBiot is a Spanish company based in Navarra, specialized in monitoring and improving indoor air quality in buildings, through our own technology that combines smart sensors, a cloud software platform and after sales services. We are now growing internationally.

The role

You will be the technical reference in HVAC, ventilation and indoor air quality engineering, leading technical prescription on complex opportunities and helping our commercial team accelerate technical validation and closing. This is not a territory owning or quota carrying role, your focus is technical depth, credibility and speed of validation.

What you will do

- Take part in technical meetings with clients, engineering firms, project management teams, sustainability consultants, installers and integrators.
- Evaluate ventilation and filtration strategies (airflow rates, air renewal, demand controlled ventilation, recirculation) based on building type and use.
- Advise on compliance and certification, including WELL, LEED, BREEAM, CTE, RITE, EPBD and ASHRAE 62.1/62.2.
- Proactively contact and qualify interest among engineering firms and prescribers, using the company's outbound tools.
- Prepare the first technical conversation and hand over opportunities with closing potential to the commercial team.
- Define technical viability criteria and write or review the technical content of proposals.
- Translate indoor air quality monitoring data (CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, thermal comfort) into clear client recommendations.
- Support the commercial team throughout HVAC and BMS opportunities.
- Build and maintain technical fact sheets, diagrams and talking points.
- Deliver training on ventilation, installations and real building use cases.
- Share field feedback and objections with Product and R&D.;

What we are looking for

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering,



Industrial Engineering (thermal installations), Energy Engineering, or Technical Architecture with a building installations specialization, or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in building performance, energy, HVAC, ventilation or sustainability, and WELL, RESET, LEED or BREEAM credentials, valued.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical presales, installation engineering, commissioning or prescription on HVAC and ventilation projects.
- Proven track record engaging engineering firms, project management teams, installers and technical integrators.
- Ability to critically read technical reports, drawings and operational criteria.
- Experience proactively opening a technical channel, rather than only reactive support, valued.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic outbound platforms.
- Autonomous in the face of open technical problems.
- Available for occasional travel (site visits, installations, training, technical trade fairs).

Languages

- Spanish: minimum B2, C1 valued.
- English: minimum C1. Needed for technical documentation, partners and international proposals.
