In this Staff Software Engineer role, you contribute to mission-critical systems within Ebury’s global fintech platform. You work across product squads alongside Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to tackle hard problems and guide smart trade-offs. You influence architecture, drive long-term technology strategy, and mentor others to raise engineering standards. • Provide technical leadership across critical domains, owning design and evolution of large-scale systems
• Set architectural direction and align long-term technology strategy across teams

Responsabilidades
• Strong CS foundation from formal education or equivalent experience
• Experience in fintech or financial services
• Extensive experience building and operating production systems at scale (10+ years preferred, but judged by impact)
• Deep understanding of core CS concepts and pragmatic application to high-scale problems
• Proven ability to design, write, and evolve high-quality software in one or more modern programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with ability to clarify ambiguous problems
• Strong communication and influencing skills to align multiple teams
• Collaborative leadership with a track record of mentoring and raising technical standards
