We are hiring – Vessel Boarding Agent | Barcelona, SpainNext Maritime is looking for a motivated, proactive and service-oriented Vessel Boarding Agent to join our Operations team in Barcelona .This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous vessel agency or port operations experience who wants to develop their career within an international, fast-paced maritime environment.At Next Maritime, we provide port agency, customs, logistics and shipping services to shipowners, charterers and operators worldwide, with a strong commitment to operational excellence, innovation, sustainability and customer service.What will you do?Coordinate and monitor vessel arrivals, departures and port callsManage vessel nominations and operational files from opening through completionLiaise with port authorities, terminals, customs, surveyors, suppliers, vessel crews and other stakeholdersPrepare, manage and submit operational and shipping documentationAttend vessels and provide onboard operational supportCoordinate port services, provisions, crew changes and logistics arrangementsKeep clients and all relevant parties continuously informed about operational progressRespond effectively to operational issues and support their timely resolutionMaintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with safety, port and company proceduresWhat are we looking for?Ideally 2–4 years of experience as a Vessel Boarding Agent, Ship Agent or in a similar port operations roleAdvanced English is essential ;
