Context

A leading aviation company is looking for a Freelance IT Project Manager to lead the IT delivery of a large-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) programme. You'll coordinate the integration, deployment and industrialisation of the MES platform, acting as the key IT contact between technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

- Lead the IT workstream for the MES programme, managing planning, risks, dependencies and delivery
- Coordinate architecture, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, IAM, middleware and application integration teams
- Oversee technical integration, testing, deployment, cutover and production readiness
- Ensure project governance, reporting, documentation and Project Life Cycle (PLC) compliance




- Coordinate internal teams, vendors and system integrators throughout the project
- Support operational readiness, knowledge transfer and handover to support teams

Requirements

- Proven experience managing complex IT projects within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Experience delivering MES programmes (Dassault Systèmes Apriso is a strong advantage)
- Good understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and application integration
- Experience managing multiple technical workstreams, suppliers and stakeholders
- Strong project planning, risk management and delivery skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluent French and English - MANDATORY

Nice to Have

- Experience with Dassault Systèmes Apriso
- Manufacturing, aviation or industrial production experience
- Knowledge of Project Life Cycle (PLC) methodologies
