JOB DESCRIPTION

- The employee supports the financial operation on a daily basis, in collaboration with the purchasing cells spread throughout Flanders, and at the same time acts as a bridge between the financial users and the ICT solutions.
- He contributes to the optimization of financial processes, the automation of recurring tasks and the further development of digital applications within FIM. He must also create the necessary support to experience these automations positively from the professional field. This is to build on even further quick wins.

The assignment includes:

• Execution and support of accounting processes.

• Analysis of financial processes and identification of optimization opportunities.

• Developing and testing new functionalities.

• Support in digitization and automation processes.

• Drafting work instructions, documentation and providing education/training

• Support with reporting, data quality and data analysis.

Technical context:

Knowledge of:

- Knowledge of Peppol and electronic invoicing.
- Affinity with data analysis and reporting.

Business context:





- Client manages the waterways and water-related land in Flanders with the aim of contributing to better mobility in Flanders by stimulating and expanding inland navigation. To this end, they operate, maintain and invest in these waterways, develop the environment accordingly and support new developments. At the same time, we protect the population against flooding by continuously ensuring good water drainage and constructing dikes and controlled flood areas. Caring for the environment and safety, as well as 'people' in general, is of paramount importance to us. We are also building the recreational functions of the waterways for walkers, fishermen, cyclists, water sports enthusiasts and pleasure boaters. We do all these activities with respect for the many functions of these waterways.

- Proven experience with accounting

- Demonstrated experience with UBW
- Demonstrable knowledge of the technology in question or a similar technology
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
- Demonstrable (advanced) knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrable knowledge of Knowledge of Peppol and electronic invoicing
- Demonstrable knowledge of Power platform
- Demonstrable knowledge of XML
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience with ICT technology for which expertise is required
- Affinity with data analysis and reporting
