The opportunity

For an international, fast-growing consumer brand, we are looking for an experienced Interim Country Manager to lead the Belgian business during a maternity leave.

Your primary objective will be to ensure business continuity and maintain commercial momentum. At the same time, you will identify growth opportunities, strengthen strategic retail relationships and support the further development of the Belgian market.

This is a broad and hands-on leadership role within a lean, entrepreneurial organisation.

Your responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of the Belgian business.
- Ensure continuity while prioritising the most important commercial opportunities.
- Manage local commercial performance, forecasts and P&L; responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Belgian grocery and retail partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations and support the development of strategic accounts.
- Represent the organisation externally as its senior local ambassador.
- Translate international sales and marketing plans into effective local execution.
- Collaborate closely with international sales, marketing, finance and operations teams.
- Provide senior management with clear reporting,



recommendations and proactive updates.
- Combine strategic market development with pragmatic, hands-on execution.

Your profile

- Significant senior experience within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong commercial leadership experience in the Belgian grocery or retail market.
- Demonstrable experience managing, developing or opening retailer accounts.
- Experience carrying P&L;, revenue or comparable commercial responsibility.
- Fluency or strong professional proficiency in French.
- Strong English for daily international collaboration.
- Able to operate autonomously in a lean and entrepreneurial environment.
- Available to start in October 2026.
- Willing to undertake occasional international travel.
