Context

The Staff Development and Learning Unit (SDL) is located within the Integrated Talent Management Division (ITMD) of the Department of Human Resources (DHR) in IOM and is responsible for managing programmes and initiatives established in line with the learning and development needs of the Organization. SDL is based in Valencia and Manila.

Under the overall supervision of the Chief, ITMD and the Head, SDL,



the direct supervision of the Senior Human Resources Associate (Learning Initiatives), the Human Resources Associate (Learning Initiatives and Communication) will support communications for DHR and will also support SDL learning initiatives.- Support communications activities for DHR initiatives by compiling inputs from responsible officers, maintaining publication schedules, and supporting the timely rollout of internal communications in coordination with Internal Communications Unit (ICU) and under the guidance of designated supervisors.
- Create and maintain digital communication spaces linked to DHR projects, including SharePoint sites, Viva Engage communities, mailing lists, and learning ‑ related pages.
- Support basic monitoring and consolidation of feedback and engagement data related to internal communications activities (e.g. readership, participation, staff queries received) and assist in preparing simple summa
