About us:
SAI Programs has been curating transformative study abroad experiences for American
university students in Italy since 1995. SAI is seeking to fill the position of Senior Program Coordinator in Barcelona. This is a full-time position. This position requires some evening
and weekend work and availability to assist students with emergencies after-hours.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish. Catalan knowledge is helpful.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite, especially Excel and Sheets.(Survey / Form Tools - Google Forms, Typeform, or similar to collect student preferences and feedback.)
- Knowledge of CRM (HubSpot,
or similar) - managing student data and communication workflows.
- Tech-savvy.
- Previous experience in project management, including budget management.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills; approachable and supportive with students.
- Cultural sensitivity, particularly regarding American students' expectations and coordinating activities in Spain.
- Familiarity with Barcelona and its culture.
- Knowledge of the American Higher Education system and study abroad programs.
- Previous experience in Study Abroad.
