The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing general public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
ISGlobal is seeking a pathology technician who is interested in taking over and managing pathology-oriented activities of the projects on pathology of the cervix and the anal canal associated with human papillomavirus infection.



The overall project goal project is to design a cost-effective strategy for prevention of anal cancer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform immunohistochemical stains for p16/ki67 dual staining in cervical and anal samples using automated staining machines.
- Maintain detailed records of specimens, staining protocols, and results.
- Ensure compliance with standardized protocols and quality control measures.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Control immunohistochemical specimens from women attending the anal cancer prevention clinics.
- Prepare immunohistochemical slides for p16/Ki67 dual staining
- Monitor reagent quality, staining consistency, and equipment performance.
