The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in five programs: Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; Environment and Health over the Lifecourse; Global Viral and Bacterial Infections; Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases and Maternal Child and Reproductive Health. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an Outreach technician to join our Scientific Culture Unit (UCC+i) who is interested in taking over and managing activities of ISGlobal outreach department and be involved in European projects related to citizen science, education and gender issues.





ISGlobal's Scientific Culture Unit (UCC+i) promotes access to scientific knowledge and social interest in science through science outreach and education, participation and citizen science around our institution's scientific research. This unit has been established and consolidated in parallel with the commitment to excellence in general health research. Using formal and non-formal methods, it works to ensure a bridge between research and society and to promote an active role for citizens in the generation of knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the Horizon Europe (HE) PULSE-ART project.
- Coordinate outreach activities and support to ISGlobal researchers.
- Coordinate activities for teachers, scholars and the general public.
- Develop educational materials.
- Active participation in the coordination of the outreach projects ensuring an optimal development of the deliverables and outputs defined in the
