Scopely is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, working on a hybrid basis 3 days a week from the hub. We are a integral team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
As the Finance team, We're number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills. This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across all departmental processes.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accounting policies
Assist with the month-end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
Provide support during external and internal audits
Partner with cross-functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights




Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a strong plus
Experience working in a shared service center or centralized accounting function
