Leveraged Finance Large Corpsteam in EMEA sits within the Investment Banking & Finance group, part of BBVA’s Corporate & Investment Banking division, and it is organized across several locations including, among others, London and Madrid.





The team is responsible for the origination, structuring, underwriting and execution of LBO and leveraged corporate financing transactions for sub-investment grade corporate clients. The business model integrates both bonds and loans and a clear focus on an originate to distribute model.

About the job:
As a Executive Director,your main roles and responsibilities are, among others, the following ones:
- Develop in depth relationships with the portfolio of clients, providing the best advice on accessing capital markets winning origination mandates.
- Maintain and enhance market intelligence working with external counterparties and Syndicate & Sales teams to gather investor appetite.
- Work on underwriting and distribution strategies including management of different stakeholders in coverage, syndicate, sales and risk to obtain the relevant approvals.
- Lead the origination activities for HY Bon
