About the role We are seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer to design, develop, and industrialise advanced electronic products within the HESOLDT Optronics product portfolio. This role requires an engineer who can operate as a design authority for complex subsystems or functional areas, taking full accountability for technical performance across the entire product life cycle, from concept and architecture through to qualification and production support.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform high-level engineering analysis, system-oriented design, simulation, prototyping, verification, and industrialisation, while working closely with system, mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering teams. Minimum BEng Electronic Engineering; Preferred BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
Preferably 7 years' experience in electronic hardware development within a product development environment.
Proven experience taking designs from concept through to production.
Exposure to full product life cycle engineering, including design reviews, industrialisation,



and production support.
Strong grounding in electronic engineering fundamentals, including analogue, digital, and mixed-signal design.
Proven capability in engineering analysis, simulation, and design validation (e.SPICE, MATLAB, modelling tools).
Experience with high-speed digital design, EMC/EMI design principles, and reliability engineering (e.Proficiency with modern engineering design and development toolchains, such as:
CAD and PCB design tools (e.Strong competence in design documentation, configuration control, and engineering data pack creation.
Solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, test equipment, and industrialisation requirements.
Ability to define, maintain, and evolve engineering standards, libraries, and best practices.
