FINANCE TECHNICIAN

The Finance Technician is a key member of our finance team, responsible for various tasks related to accounting, and grant management.

Main functions

1. Accounting Activities:
- Posting invoices in the ERP system, matching them with the delivery notes and attaching payment receipts.
- Purchasing approval process follow up
- Sending the invoices through the SII system (Sistema de Información Inmediata)
- Follow up of the Fixed Assets in the ERP system (correct definition and depreciation process)
- Posting certain low-value service expenses in the ERP system.
- Matching VISA movements with invoices and/or expenses
- Completing INTRASTAT declarations

2. Grant-related Activities:
Preparation of Proposals:




- Managing the preparation of proposal documentation: powers of attorney, tax identification numbers (NIF), Social Security certificates, tax certificates, etc.

Project Justification Activities:
- Generating reports from the ERP system.
- Compiling invoices and payment receipts, ensuring traceability of which invoices have been used for which justifications.
- Collecting personal data: Name, ID, Qualifications, CV, etc.
- Completing and tracking Time Sheets, allocating project dedication considering holidays, absences, etc.
- Providing support during project cost audits.
- General support to Public Funding Team.
