We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial sales professional to join our Fundamental Ratings sales team. This client-facing individual contributor role focuses on developing new business opportunities and growing revenues across Corporates, Financial Institutions, Sovereign and Public Sector entities in Southern Europe, with a special focus in Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional (ca. 3-5 years’ experience) with strong growth potential, keen to build a long-term career within a leading European credit rating agency. Position is targeted to be located in Milan or Madrid office of Scope.

Duties & responsibilities

* Originate, develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion for Fundamental Ratings across Corporates, Financial Institutions, Sovereign and Public Sector entities in Southern Europe.
* Identify, originate and pursue new business opportunities,



including inaugural ratings, renewals, extensions of existing mandates and cross-selling of related products and services.
* Act as a trusted commercial point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, Debt Capital Markets teams, public sector officials, advisors and intermediaries).
* Proactively manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and pitch preparation to mandate execution, fee negotiation and onboarding.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Analytical, Business Support, Communications and Marketing teams among others) to ensure alignment, high-quality client delivery and effective execution of sales strategies.
* Contribute to the development of targeted sales and marketing initiatives, including client events, roadshows, strategic campaigns, presentations and tailored commercial materials.
