Main Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare monthly fin package with full analysis of the results.
- Manage cash flow planning and working capital.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
- Implementing the company's ERP system Holded.
- Prepare yearly budget with coordination of all relevant departments.
- Lead end-to-end statutory audits with external audit firms.
- Own Spanish-specific tax compliance: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, among others.




- Operate across a multi-entity environment comprising 15+ Spanish group companies.
- Supervise a 4-person accounting team.

Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field in SPAIN ; CPA required.
- 5–10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with financial reporting standards,audits , internal controls ,and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools. ERP Experience - advantage
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formula-driven financial modeling - advantage
- Experience in the hospitality/real estate sector and with related PMS and payment platforms - advantage
- Proven experience managing external auditors through a full statutory audit cycle - advantage.
