Tech Recruiter – Engineering, AI & Data | Freelance → Perm | Valencia (Hybrid)

Freelance opportunity via Shakers for a fast-growing B2C company in Valencia, scaling its Engineering, AI and Data teams across 10+ markets. Starts as a 6-month freelance contract with a clear path to an internal, permanent role.

What you'll do

- Own full-cycle recruitment for Engineering, AI/ML and Data roles, from sourcing to offer close
- Partner directly with the executive board and engineering leadership to shape hiring strategy, including for newer roles (AI/ML, data) that don't have an established playbook yet
- Build and maintain pipelines across local and international markets
- Assess AI/ML and engineering profiles credibly at a senior level, not just keyword-match a JD

What we need

- 6+ years in technical recruiting, with real, demonstrable Engineering/AI/Data hiring experience (not general/admin TA)
- Native or professional Spanish + strong English
- Comfortable running full-cycle processes autonomously
- Hybrid in Valencia

Nice to have

- E-commerce/D2C/consumer tech recruiting experience
- Stable tenure track record — this is meant to become long-term, not a quick stopover
