Company Description
The IFAM – International Football Arbitration Moot and Negotiation – is an annual event combining a football law moot court, a sports negotiation competition, and a conference on emerging developments in the football industry. It offers law, business, and sports students of any level, as well as young professionals, a specialized platform to practice football law and European sports negotiations. The IFAM Conference gathers prominent leaders from the general football sector to share insights and foster discussion on key industry topics. Participants gain practical experience, develop vocational and advocacy skills, and build networks with leading figures in football law and sports business. The next edition, IFAM 2025, will take place from 8–10 May in Platja d'Aro.

Role Description
The Academic Director – Pro Bono is a full-time, on-site role based in Madrid, responsible for the overall academic design and quality of the IFAM moot, negotiation competition, and conference. This role oversees the development and continuous improvement of the academic program,



including problem drafting, competition rules, case materials, and teaching resources for participants and judges. The Academic Director collaborates with organizers, industry experts, and academic partners to ensure that the content reflects current developments in football law and sports business. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating research teams, supervising training sessions and workshops for students and young professionals, mentoring volunteers and academic assistants, and supporting the selection of speakers, arbitrators, and panelists. The role also involves monitoring academic standards, assessing feedback, and helping to shape IFAM’s long-term educational strategy.
