- Approve and manage Firewall Change Requests (FCA), ensuring compliance with company standards
- Oversee operation, configuration, and optimization of the Firewall management tool
- Train and manage external team members undertaking FCA while maintaining service quality within agreed SLA parameters
- Participate in projects involving Firewall, IPS/IDS, and Remote Access services
- Maintain expertise in NGFW technologies and IPS/IDS from leading vendors
- Participate in network design and planning with stakeholders
- Document procedures and services for communication and compliance
- Support business teams with security guardrails and configuration policies based on ABB Network Security standards

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Excellent knowledge of Networks and NGFW technologies
- Proficiency in managing Firewall and VPN technologies
- Proficient knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access platforms
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Ability to manage client requests, navigate complex situations, and maintain composure during challenging client interactions
- Networking knowledge at a CCNP level
- Exposure to firewall, IPS, VPN, SWG (proxy), WAF, Network Security Policy Management tools and DDoS protection
- Experience working with integral OEMs such as Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, AKAMAI, Zscaler, NetSkope, Algosec, etc.
- 10+ years of Information/Network Security experience,



including 3–4 years in Firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco or Palo Alto) and Network Security policy management
- Working knowledge of Cisco SNA and Algosec is advantageous
