- Support the conception, development, and integration of aerial vehicles and airborne systems
- Define and manage system requirements
- Develop system architectures and interfaces
- Perform functional analysis and system decomposition
- Conduct requirements verification and validation activities
- Support integration and qualification campaigns
- Prepare engineering and certification documentation
- Participate in technical trade-off analyses
- Coordinate with specialists in structures, avionics, communications, GNC, and mission systems
- Support system integration and systems selection
- Define electrical and functional interfaces
- Define integration, verification, and testing activities
- Support ground and flight tests
- Support safety assessment and certification activities
Requirements
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering
- Good knowledge of aircraft systems and mission systems
- Experience in requirements engineering and systems architecture
- Knowledge of integration, verification, and validation processes
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) would be an asset
- Knowledge of certification processes is valued
- Experience in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS/UAV) is an asset
- Capacity to understand new concepts and apply them to engineering problems
- Advanced MS Office proficiency
- Experience with IBM DOORS, Polarion, or equivalent requirements management tools
- Knowledge of Capella, Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or MBSE tools would be an asset
- Knowledge of SEE-XP, CATIA, or similar engineering tools would be valued
