As a z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer, you will own the installation, upgrade, and ongoing maintenance of the IBM z/OS ecosystem and related ISV products. You will administer large-scale Parallel Sysplex environments to ensure availability and performance in mission-critical settings, such as banking and financial services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system reliability, security, and automation while contributing from day one. This role offers opportunities to influence platform stability and disaster recovery initiatives in a globally distributed team.

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems and related products
• Plan and execute z/OS upgrades and software maintenance using SMP/E
• Administer and support Parallel Sysplex environments for high availability
• Monitor performance, capacity planning, and resource optimization




• Resolve complex system-level issues involving z/OS, middleware, and infrastructure
• Collaborate with application support, security, and operations teams for platform stability
• Implement maintenance, fixes, service packs, and vendor updates
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability initiatives
• Maintain security controls and organizational compliance
• Create and maintain runbooks and technical documentation
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem management
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
• Support production implementations and after-hours maintenance activities

Responsabilidades
• 10+ years of hands-on z/OS Systems Programming experience
• Deep knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, xqbhyrx TSO/ISPF, UNIX System Services (USS), SDSF, JCL, RACF
• Strong Parallel Sysplex implementation and administration experience
