Job Description

1) Carrier Management & Performance: Manage the end-to-end performance of last-mile and line-haul carriers in Spain and Portugal. Establish and enforce KPIs (on-time delivery, damage rate, complaint rate), conduct regular business reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with strategic partners.

2) Cost Optimization & Routing: Analyze transportation data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Optimize routing and dynamic capacity allocation to reduce empty miles and redundant deliveries, ensuring unit cost CPP reduction while maintaining service SLAs.

3) Operational Monitoring & Exception Handling: Monitor real-time transportation operations via TMS. Proactively identify and resolve exceptions (delays, loading rate, leftover rate etc.) to minimize next nod and end customer impact.

4) Process Improvement & Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal team like Sorting Centers, Sales Operation , Customer Service, and IT teams to streamline end-to-end logistics processes.



Lead implementation projects to enhance network resilience and operational efficiency.

5) Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all transportation activities comply with labor laws, traffic regulations, and Cainiao’s compliance standards in the Iberian market.

Job Requirment

1) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

2) Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Spain/Portugal transportation management or related, preferably within e-commerce or 3PL environments.

3) Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS concepts.

4) Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, or BI tools to drive decision-making.

5) Familiarity with route optimization logic and capacity planning.

6) Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

7) Ability to work under pressure and make quick, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
