Experteer Overview
In this role, you will oversee a high-value B2B partner portfolio within Expedia Group’s credit program, guiding governance and risk across Sales, Commercial Finance, Partner Finance, Accounting and Treasury. You’ll partner with major travel partners to shape credit strategies, resolve complex financial issues, and balance commercial opportunities with protection. You will influence senior stakeholders and drive improvements in collections, forecasting, and policy oversight to support strategic growth. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven position in Madrid that combines analytics, negotiation, and relationship management to enable scalable, responsible credit.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead a portfolio of high-value partners with complex credit arrangements and multi-currency exposures
• Assess and set credit limits through financial statement analysis and group structure interpretation
• Serve as core finance contact for risk, payment performance, and commercial discussions with major partners
• Collaborate with Sales, Product u0026 Tech, and Commercial Finance to support growth while ensuring governance and risk mitigation
• Resolve complex finance issues affecting receivables (unallocated cash, disputes, reconciliation gaps)
• Negotiate collateral, payment terms, and risk-based decisions with large partners
• Support the credit insurance programme and manage coverage gaps
• Strengthen collections processes to reduce ageing and improve forecast accuracy
• Evaluate and maintain partner financial information with internal controls in mind
• Assist the Credit Risk Director in developing/updating Credit Management Policies
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in credit control, credit risk, or corporate finance with focus on large B2B portfolios or high-risk accounts
• Ability to interpret financial statements, assess business models and form clear risk opinions
• Experience setting or reviewing high credit limits
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to resolve complex issues and manage escalations calmly and solution-focused
• Strong relationship-building across functions and cultures
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Advanced Excel and strong system adaptability (experience with AI, Power BI Power Query a plus)
• Experience in business partnering roles with finance collaborating with commercial teams
• Knowledge of B2B models, credit insurance, securitisation or collateral management (advantageous)
• English speaker
• Travel experience desirable
