As a z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer, you enable stable, secure, and highly available mainframe services for enterprise environments. You will manage installation, upgrades, and maintenance of z/OS and key system software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical operations. You will drive reliability and performance in large-scale, banking/financial services contexts, handling planned upgrades and after-hours work as needed. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape mainframe infrastructure and mentor junior engineers within a global team.

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS and related system software across enterprise environments
• Plan and execute OS upgrades and maintenance using SMP/E
• Administer and support Parallel Sysplex environments for high availability
• Perform system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and resource optimization




• Troubleshoot complex z/OS, middleware, and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with application support, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability
• Provide after-hours support for critical changes and DR/BC initiatives
• Document procedures, runbooks, and participate in root cause analyses
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to incident resolution and continuous improvement
• Support production deployments and planned maintenance activities, including off-hours work

Responsabilidades
• 10+ years of hands-on z/OS Systems Programming experience
• Deep knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF xqbhyrx
• Strong expertise in Parallel Sysplex implementation and administration
• Experience with IBM and CA/Broadcom mainframe products
• Experience in large enterprise environments, preferably Banking/Financial Services
• Strong troubleshooting and independe
