Experteer Overview In this role you help build and operate the Elastic Cloud Platform, enabling other engineers to develop and run software at scale. You’ll own well-scoped features and contribute to production services within a distributed, async-first environment. You work closely with senior engineers to propose practical solutions, participate in design reviews, and help keep services reliable through on-call and incident handling. You’ll grow your expertise in Go, Kubernetes, and cloud-native practices while shaping scalable cloud services for Elastic customers. This is a collaborative, impact-driven opportunity to advance cloud infrastructure that powers Elastic’s products.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Build features and components for production services
- Own well-scoped pieces of larger projects from requirements to production
- Propose technical solutions and implement them in code
- Pair with senior engineers on challenging problems and seek clarification early
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Operate the services and participate in on-call rotation




- Investigate incidents beyond the runbook and improve post-incident learnings
- Automate repetitive tasks through code
- Communicate status and blockers early and oftenResponsabilidades
- Hands-on experience writing services in Go, or strong proficiency in another systems language with motivation to ramp up on Go
- Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (Pods, Deployments, Services, Operators)
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Curiosity about distributed systems and how services communicate at scale
- Comfort with ambiguity and learning from teammates
- Collaborative approach with openness to feedback and knowledge sharing
- Clear written and verbal communication in a distributed, async-first setting
