Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the Finance function in Spain, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls to support business decisions. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, audits, risk management, and finance transformation. You will partner with local and regional leadership and manage a small finance team to deliver reliable insights and compliant financial performance. - Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reporting
- Oversee local and corporate reporting in line with policies and accounting standards
- Maintain integrity of financial statements and balance sheets
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting and reporting processes
- Own and enhance the financial control framework
- Identify, assess, and mitigate key financial, operational, and compliance risks
- Lead remediation plans from audits and risk assessments
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit findings




- Oversee local tax compliance and liaise with external advisors and authorities
- Monitor regulatory developments and implement new compliance requirements
- Oversee treasury activities, cash management, liquidity, and banking controls
- Collaborate with business leaders on budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and performance management
- Lead finance-related transformation projects and system implementations
- Develop and coach a team of finance professionals
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and maintain a high-performance culture
- Support succession planning and capability building within FinanceResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Significant experience in finance leadership with responsibility for accounting, reporting, controls, audits, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of financial governance, risk management, and internal controls
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Experience in multinational and matrix organizations
