Experteer Overview
As Lead AI Engineer, you design, build and deploy production-ready AI applications at general scale, with a hands-on focus on GenAI, Azure OpenAI, and RAG. You will establish an internal AI center of excellence, collaborating with data engineers and business teams to move use cases from PoC to production. You will influence tech standards, mentor engineers, and drive high-impact AI initiatives across the organization. This role offers remote work from Spain (or hybrid if in Barcelona) and a clear path to technical leadership.

Responsabilidades
• Hands-on AI engineering with daily coding and production work
• Practical experience with premier LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude) and prompt engineering
• Strong expertise in RAG architecture, embeddings, vector search, and document processing
• Expert Python development for production APIs and AI apps
• Understanding of data lake / lakehouse platforms and API-based system integration with ERP/CRM
• Azure-centric cloud experience: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, App Services
• MLOps / LLMOps lifecycle for live environment deployment and monitoring
• Security, governance u0026 compliance knowledge including RBAC and EU AI Act awareness
