As an Accountant Specialist with Dutch, you will be responsible for managing accounting activities for the assigned market, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing General Ledger accounting activities and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and applicable Local GAAP requirements.
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and internal financial reports.
- Coordinating and supporting internal and external audit processes.
- Managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Working with SAP and Excel to manage and analyze financial information.
- Collaborating with local and international Finance teams and other internal departments.
- Using Dutch and English regularly to communicate with stakeholders and support the assigned market.
Who are we looking for?
Experience: 3–4 years of professional experience specifically within a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) or similar.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of IFRS is mandatory. Proficiency in local accounting standards is highly valued.
- Languages: Native proficiency or Advanced in Italian and English. To ensure seamless integration and communication within the SSC and local stakeholders.
- Systems: Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
