Experteer Overview In this role you will own the technical vision for Deel's Growth engine and lead a small cross-disciplinary team. You will design and ship AI-powered features that boost platform yield, while writing production code in Node.Js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. You’ll influence architecture, review AI-generated code, and communicate constraints to partners. - 8+ years as a Backend Engineer working on complex, scalable systems
- 2+ years leading or mentoring engineers as a tech lead or manager
- Background in data: data engineering, data science, analysis, or AI engineering
- Strong with Node.Js or Python
- PostgreSQL and ORMs (Sequelize, TypeORM) as muscle memory
- Understands how AI works at a product level and can ship AI-powered products
- Hands-on with AI coding tools
