Experteer Overview As a Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer, you will design, deploy and maintain the scalable, fault-tolerant core of the ClickHouse Cloud data plane. You’ll build a cloud-native platform across public clouds, automate resource management, and optimize compute, storage, and networking. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient infrastructure for a multi-region, multi-cloud environment. - 5+ years in software development building and operating scalable, distributed systems
- Experience with Go, C/C++, Java or other OOP languages
- Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-native edge or service mesh (Envoy, Istio)
- Leading and delivering large technical projects with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of network topologies, security principles (VPNs, firewalls, load balancers)
- Knowledge of cloud security practices, encryption, access controls, and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, production debugging skills
