On behalf of our client, a growing international investment group, we are looking to appoint a Senior Funds Controller to join their Madrid-based finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to a fund finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of fund accounting, reporting, controls, audits and external provider management in a fast-moving international environment.- Oversee fund vehicle accounting, controls and reconciliations across a range of investment structures.- Manage NAV review, valuation-related controls and fund accounting close activities.- Coordinate investor reporting deliverables, including capital account and investment reporting.- Lead annual audit coordination, from planning and preparation through to completion.- Work closely with fund administrators, auditors and other external service providers.- Support tax, regulatory and investor-level reporting requirements.- Improve fund finance processes, controls,



procedures and documentation.- Act as a key contact for fund accounting and reporting matters across the business.Profile:- Around 7–10 years’ experience in fund accounting, fund operations, controlling or audit.- Ideally combines Big 4 training with hands-on finance or industry experience.- Exposure to private markets, private equity, private credit or alternative investments would be highly advantageous.- Strong knowledge of fund lifecycle, NAV, capital activity, valuations and reporting.- Excellent Excel skills; eFront or iLevel experience would be beneficial.- Degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, engineering or a related subject, or relevant professional qualification.- Analytical, proactive and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.For further information and to register your interest in this opportunity, please click Apply Now or email your CV to Paul Jarrett at [email protected] (job reference: 28304).#J-18808-Ljbffr
