About the Role

NISH Tech BV is looking for a Senior Tester for a freelance assignment in Brussels, supporting the testing of an application undergoing a Cloud migration.

You will be responsible for analysing testing requirements, preparing and executing test cases, managing defects and performing regression testing. You will also contribute to test planning and work closely with technical and business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.

The role requires a strong testing background, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience with Jira and Xray.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements for testing.
- Define appropriate test approaches and scenarios.
- Specify detailed test cases and test conditions.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation.
- Create and contribute to test plans.
- Execute functional and regression tests.
- Identify, document and track defects.
- Manage defects through Jira/Xray.
- Analyse test results and communicate findings.
- Support testing activities during the Cloud migration.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.




- Follow up on defect resolution and retesting.
- Communicate testing progress, risks and issues.
- Contribute to overall software quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
