Overview
We are partnered with a general pharmaceutical organisation to recruit an experienced Senior HVAC Project Engineer to support a portfolio of infrastructure projects across multiple sites in Belgium.
This position will play a key role in the design, delivery, and commissioning of HVAC and black utility systems within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Working alongside Project Leads and technical SMEs, you will provide technical expertise across multiple projects while ensuring quality, compliance, sustainability, and HSE objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Lead and validate HVAC technical solutions throughout project lifecycles
- Review and challenge engineering designs, specifications, and contractor deliverables
- Support tendering activities, supplier selection, and technical documentation
- Monitor construction and commissioning activities
- Manage project risks relating to quality, cost, schedule, and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders across site operations and engineering teams
Hard Skills
- Strong expertise in HVAC systems, with knowledge of black utilities and piping
- Experience delivering projects within pharmaceutical and/or biotech environments
- Knowledge of design, construction, and commissioning phases
- Experience with technical specifications, tendering, and supplier management
- Strong understanding of HSE and compliance requirements
- Fluency in French and professional English

Qualifications
- Senior-level profile with approximately 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record delivering HVAC engineering projects in regulated industries
- Experience working within complex, multidisciplinary project environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems is advantageous
