For a banking customer in Brussels, we are searching for a freelance Compliance Analyst.

Responsibilities

- Autonomous handling of the majority of alerts generated by monitoring and screening tools.
- Conducting in-depth investigations and drafting clear, structured and well-reasoned analyses.
- Identification, documentation and assessment of non-compliance risks.
- Strict application of internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contribution to the update and improvement of procedures and operational guidelines

Profile

- Master’s degree (law, economics, finance or equivalent field).
- Confirmed experience in operational compliance / financial security.
- Solid knowledge of AML/KYC, sanctions, PEP and fraud regulations.
- Ability to handle autonomously the majority of cases, including certain complex cases.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with clear and structured writing abilities.
- Critical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and formulate relevant hypotheses.




- Ease in understanding and applying written procedures and policies.
- Willingness to contribute to internal awareness (support to colleagues, answering business questions).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with
- diplomacy and assertiveness when required.
- Ability to take initiatives and propose concrete improvements.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
- Team spirit, strong sense of responsibility and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to use Netreveal software
