Would you like to join an international team and play a key role in transforming the way we work across construction projects? At VSL, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our international Continuous Improvement team.
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be part of VSL's international Continuos Improvement team, helping establish Lean Management and operational excellence culture across the whole company.

You will work directly with project teams and departments to identify improvement opportunities, analyse performance, implement Lean tools and measure their impact. The role combines site-based improvement work, data analysis, project support, training and development of Lean standards and tools. The Continuous Improvement team operates worldwide across VSL's international organisation.
In this role, your initial focus will be on supporting projects and teams across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas, with opportunities to contribute to initiatives in other regions as the role develops.
Key responsibilities
Promote awareness of Lean Management principles across VSL.
Deploy Lean
Management practices across VSL projects and departments. Facilitate site-based observations and improvement workshops. Prepare clear, concise and visual reports on site missions and their outcomes. Contribute to the development of Lean tools and training materials.
Support Annual
Department event.
Maintain
Lean database (collect targets, improvements, gains, and lessons learned of projects). Communicate and share the results and achievements of projects.
Coordinate with Communications & VSL Academy teams (to issue webinars, articles), Business Lines (to define standards, share best practices) and Digitalization team & External Lean Consultant (for support).
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related technical field. Additional training in Lean Management / Continuous Improvement is an advantage.
Experience
6+ years of professional experience, preferably in the construction environment, to be able to apprehend site projects, back office, client relations. Experience in Lean Management / Continuous Improvement is an advantage.
