In this role you will design, administer, and support IBM DB2 on z/OS within a global, 24x7 environment. You will drive high-quality, secure database services aligned to SLAs and project timelines, while pursuing automation and process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resilience, performance, and compliant operations, contributing to modernization initiatives.

- Translate business needs into technical DB2 specifications
- Provide production support and release management for DB2 environments
- Design and maintain physical database structures and configurations
- Build, test, and support application database releases
- Implement and manage RACF/ACF2 security and access controls
- Establish and maintain HA and replication for business continuity
- Collaborate with application, infra, and support teams to deliver stable services
- Support database migrations, upgrades,



and data conversions
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve database incidents
- Offer performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization consulting
- Coordinate with development during project implementations and release cycles
- Participate in modernization, data center migration, and evergreen upgrade initiatives
- Identify and implement automation to improve efficiency
- Ensure ITIL, change management, and governance adherence

Responsabilidades

- 8-12 years hands-on IBM z/Mainframe experience
- Deep knowledge of DB2 for z/OS architecture, xugodme backup/recovery, and administration
- Production support and database release management experience
- Perf monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization skills
- Strong RACF/ACF2 security administration experience
- HV/DR and replication technologies knowledge
- Understanding of ITIL processes, incident/change/problem management
- Exposure to automation and process improvement
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
