In this role, you will lead the DB2 for z/OS systems program within our DB2 Support Team to ensure highly available, secure, and performing DB2 infrastructure across a large enterprise. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to drive upgrades, DR planning, and performance improvements. The position focuses on maintaining a complex estate with 50+ subsystems across regions, delivering reliable database services and strategic initiatives.

- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 for z/OS environments
- Support a large-scale enterprise DB2 infrastructure with multiple subsystems
- Plan and execute DB2 version upgrades and migrations
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for DB2-based applications

Responsabilidades

- Typically 8 to 15+ years of IBM Mainframe Systems Programming with strong DB2 for z/OS administration and support
- Proven experience with large-scale DB2 environments and multiple subsystems
- Expertise in DB2 installation, migration, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience in xugodme Banking/Financial Services or other mission-critical environments preferred
- Hands-on experience with CICS and DB2 in high-volume OLTP settings
- Strong DB2 for z/OS, z/OS, SMP/E, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, RACF
- Experience installing, upgrading, testing, and supporting DB2 releases
- Experience providing Level 2/3 support for DB2-based applications
- Knowledge of Distributed DB2 Connectivity (DDF)
- DB2 Performance Monitoring and Tuning, Capacity Planning, Backup/Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Security Administration
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
