Role purpose The Delivery Platform Leader is responsible for the effective, compliant and sustainable running of the Delivery Platform as a local operating entity. The role combines overall platform leadership with direct accountability for local operations, finance operations, office management, governance, people environment and stakeholder experience.
The role ensures that the Platform provides a high-quality, reliable and well-controlled environment for services delivered to Member Firms, aligned with Group standards and local requirements. Service delivery execution and technical decisions remain with the relevant service line and functional leaders.
Reporting lines and governance
- Reports to the Group Head of Delivery Platforms and CFO Group Business Transformation.
- Accountable for the Delivery Platform legal entity, local operations, governance and performance.
- Provides local coordination and day-to-day supervision for functional teams, while they maintain functional reporting to Group leaders.
- May act as legal director of the Delivery Platform entity where required.
Key responsibilities
1 - Platform leadership and local operations
- Lead and manage the Delivery Platform as a local operating entity, ensuring effective governance, controls and decision-making under the direction of the DP OpCo and SteerCo.
- Ensure the office runs smoothly day to day, including facilities, suppliers, procurement, administration, security and business continuity.
- Act as the senior local representative of the Group and the key local point of contact for employees, visitors, suppliers and Group functions.
2 - Financial stewardship and controls
- Directly accountable for the overall financial management of the entity, ensuring that all finance activities are effectively coordinated and delivered in line with Group requirements,
while taking into account the outsourced accounting model.
- Responsible for financial performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, reporting, variance analysis and financial decision support.
- Oversees local financial administration processes, including invoices, expenses, payments, purchase orders, intercompany charges and supporting documentation, ensuring timely processing and resolution of issues.
- Ensures robust financial controls, approval procedures, reconciliations and documentation are maintained in compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements and QRM standards.
- Manages the relationship with outsourced accounting providers, ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of accounting records, statutory compliance and reporting deliverables.
- Coordinates with Group Finance, external accountants, auditors and advisors as required, while retaining full local accountability for financial compliance, deliverables, follow-up actions and issue resolution.
3 - People, culture and local employee experience
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed working environment, aligned with the Group’s values and Code of Conduct.
- Provide local leadership, coaching and support to functional and service delivery leaders.
- Coordinate with HR and IT on onboarding logistics, equipment, access, record-keeping and employee support.
- Support engagement, people survey follow-up and local action plans in partnership with HR.
- Act as an ambassador for the Delivery Platform in the local employment market.
- Take overall responsibility for the staff hired into the Delivery Platform; it includes ultimate hiring and offboarding decision making, in coordination with Group HR.
4 - Stakeholder experience and service enablement
- Act as a key relationship owner for Member Firms engaging with the Delivery Platform.
- Ensure a strong end-to-end stakeholder experience, addressing issues promptly and constructively.
- Work with Group and Member Firm leadership to support growth, onboarding and long-term partnerships.
- Facilitate feedback mechanisms and support practical action plans in response to feedback.
5 - Risk, compliance and governance
- Ensure Group policies, risk frameworks and control requirements are effectively implemented locally.
- Ensure health, safety, data protection and regulatory obligations are met.
- Act as the primary escalation point for material operational, people, finance or compliance issues within the Delivery Platform.
- Maintain complete and well-organised documentation to support audit, compliance and reporting requirements.
Experience and profile
- Senior Finance & Operations experience in a complex operational environment, preferably in a multi-site, multi-country or professional services context.
- Familiar with hands-on finance operations, governance, controls, operational risk and local entity management.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation with shared services, functional reporting lines and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead people, manage priorities, solve problems and create a positive local working environment.
- Clear, confident and pragmatic communicator with strong judgement and execution focus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
