At Fundiciones Rey, we are an established and growing industrial group specializing in high-responsibility casting and precision machining components for demanding sectors like marine and heavy industry. To boost our international expansion, we are looking for a highly proactive Inside Sales Engineer / Export Business Developer to join our team in Vilagarcía de Arousa.

Job Purpose:

Working hand-in-hand as the key support for the Export Manager and Commercial Director, your main mission will be to act as the driving engine for international business growth. This is a highly proactive, office-based role focused on intensive market prospecting, cold/warm calling, and technical qualification. You will be responsible for breaking the ice with new international markets and relentlessly reconnecting with dormant accounts to extract technical requirements and blueprints for quotation.

Key Responsibilities:

·Intensive Prospecting & Lead Generation (Hunter): Identify and proactively approach procurement managers and engineering departments in target international markets. Strong persistence and phone skills are essential to open doors.

·Account Reactivation & Nurturing (Farmer): Rigorously follow up with inactive or dormant clients, rebuild commercial relationships, and "dig deep" to extract information about their current needs and upcoming projects.

·Technical Interpretation: Receive, read, and interpret technical blueprints/drawings and specifications for casting and machined components to verify basic project alignment.

·Data & Requirement Gathering: Lead technical conversations with prospective clients to secure critical data required for precise quoting (3D models, alloys, standards, specific tolerances, and volumes).

·Back-Office Support:



Organize and maintain the international sales pipeline, ensuring all necessary project information is ready for the Export Manager to quote, and support the planning of international visits for the management team.

Requirements:

·Languages: Native or C2 English is a must. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are mandatory, as you will spend most of your day on the phone with foreign accounts.

·Technical Background: Ability to confidently read and interpret industrial engineering drawings (materials, machining allowances, tolerances). Educational background in engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Industrial) or equivalent solid experience in the metallurgical sector (foundry, machining…) is highly valued.

·Commercial Attitude: Highly resilient, persistent, and proactive. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of the phone, possesses great follow-up discipline, and knows how to tactfully insist until getting results.

·Location: Full-time 7:00 to 15:00 on-site in Vilagarcía de Arousa. (This is an office-based position; international travel for client visits will be handled by the Export Manager and Commercial Director).

Valued Qualifications:

·Fluency in additional languages, especially French or German.

·Previous experience in B2B technical sales or industrial customer service.
