ORGANIC SYNTHESIS Ph.D. RESEARCHER

INCORPORATION

Between October-December 2026.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Organic Synthesis Researcher to join our synthetic organic chemistry team in Madrid. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in research projects with a high degree of independence and responsibility, along with strong professional growth prospects. The position is a long-term position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work on multi and interdisciplinary R&D; projects within AITENEA portfolio.

· Perform multistep synthesis of target compounds that can include small molecules, peptides, macrocycles, polymers.

· Conduct laboratory research for the development of new methodologies and approaches.

· Collaborate with other research teams and companies to achieve common goals.

· Stay updated with scientific and technological advances in the field of organic synthesis.

· Contribute to the development of long-term strategies and objectives of the research team.





· Report on internal weekly meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:

· PhD in Organic Chemistry, Organic Synthesis and/or catalysis or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience in designing and executing organic synthesis projects.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Good oral and written communication skills in English.

· Creativity and ability to address scientific challenges in an innovative manner.
