Environment prep: install, configure, and network-set-up test systems, including provisioning test data.

Build validation: pull artifacts and configs from the upstream platform team, integrate them, and confirm theyre ready to test.

Test execution: run (and sometimes write) scripted test cases, plus exploratory testing across networked components and services.

Manual QA coverage: functional,



regression, integration, and smoke testing, all hands‐on. Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, routing/switching, DNS/DHCP, packet capture analysis) Strong Linux proficiency (install, services, networking tools, log analysis, shell for setup/triage) Discipline in manual testing: meticulous execution, evidence gathering, defect reporting Ability to turn technical specs into actionable test scenarios/checklists Fluent English; other languages a plus QA professionals who genuinely enjoy hands‐on Linux and networking work, not just clicking through UI test cases. Bonus points if youve worked in high‐stakes or regulated environments where evidence quality actually matters.
