In this role you will own and evolve ING’s Cassandra Keyspace as a Service (KaaS) in a private cloud. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional squad to design, build, test and operate the Cassandra-based platform, focusing on robust deployment, automation, and observability. You’ll work in a multi-tenant, self-service environment and contribute to a scalable, resilient data service used by ING teams.

This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape a high-availability NoSQL platform with strong DevOps and monitoring practices.

- Own the Cassandra Keyspace as a Service offering for tenants
- Create and maintain code in Azure DevOps Repositories and manage pipelines
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum with product manager and architect
- Propose and implement modernization, monitoring,



and automation for robust operations
- Contribute to deployment and operational improvements of the platform/service
- Participate in 24/7 standby schedule once ramped up
- Handle Ops-on-duty tasks and scheduled maintenance to minimize risk

Responsabilidades

- 3+ years operating Apache Cassandra in production
- Experience with Cassandra cluster administration
- Data modelling for Cassandra xugodme
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Replication, consistency levels and capacity management
- Backup/restore and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience supporting mission-critical Cassandra platforms
- High level of English (C1)
