As Senior Flood Modeller you will develop and verify hydraulic and hydrological models to support flood risk assessments and flood alleviation schemes, collaborating with cross-functional teams on water and transportation projects. You’ll apply climate-change insights to assess future risks and mentor colleagues to grow capability within the Hydraulics and Drainage team. This role sits within Enterprise Capabilities, contributing to high-quality designs for public and private sector clients.

You’ll help deliver scalable water solutions across multiple regions and projects.

Compensaciones / Ventajas

- Develop and validate hydraulic models using Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, Mike 11/21, HEC-RAS and ICM
- Perform hydrological analyses to define model boundary conditions
- Interpret outputs to assess current and future flood risk under climate scenarios




- Mentor and develop team members
- Build and maintain client relationships across disciplines
- Prepare graphical outputs and GIS deliverables
- Verify models and tools to ensure reliability of predictions
- Collaborate with modelling team and other disciplines

Responsabilidades

- 8+ years of experience on fluvial, coastal, surface water or drainage flood risk projects
- Proficiency in xugodme Flood Modeller and TUFLOW
- Familiarity with water quality models (advantageous)
- Familiarity with Flood Estimation Handbook, ReFH2 and WINFAP (advantageous)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Experience on UK or Irish projects (favourable)
