We are expanding our team and looking for an Advanced / Senior Solution Architect to join a high-impact project. In this hands-on role, you will combine application architecture and senior-level development to lead the design, evolution, integration, and operation of the DRMKC Risk Data Hub—a complex geospatial platform designed for managing disaster risk data.

? WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

Mandatory Requirements

Education: University degree.

Overall IT Experience: Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in the IT sector.

Architecture & Development: At least 5 years of experience in application architecture and senior development of complex web-based systems.

Languages: English proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written).

Core Technical Experience

Distributed & Microservices Architectures: Solid experience in designing, integrating, and maintaining distributed systems and microservices.

Backend Development: Strong expertise in Python, specifically with Django / Django REST Framework and/or FastAPI. Experience designing REST APIs, data modeling, business logic, authentication, and authorization.

Frontend Development:



3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript frameworks (React and/or Angular).

Geospatial & Web GIS: Strong experience with Web GIS, geospatial services, geographic information platforms, and secure geospatial data services.

Databases: Advanced experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and/or SQL Server, including database design, querying, and performance optimization.

Containerization & Deployment: Solid hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, container orchestration platforms (OpenShift and/or Kubernetes), and automated CI/CD practices.

System Integration, Security & Operations

API Management & Security: Experience in API management, authentication, and authorization protocols.

Data & Platform Engineering: Hands-on experience with data migration and transformation, metadata management, data provenance, QA, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Governance

Specific Tech Stack: Experience with APISIX, Keycloak, or CAS.

Technical Leadership & Governance: Proven experience in architecture governance, release management, comprehensive technical documentation, technical leadership, and effective coordination with teams and stakeholders.
