Time Type: Full time You will join QBE's Sustainable Energy team in Europe, providing underwriting support across Spain and other European countries where QBE has a local presence. The role focuses on underwriting clients supporting the energy transition, including Renewable Energy risks as well as Conventional Power, ensuring a balanced and resilient portfolio aligned with QBE's strategic objectives. Positively promote the department, division and company as a whole in order to maximize brand leverage Perform underwriting activities in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met Ensure the recording and measurement of insurance risks, (including DUA's if relevant) to ensure accuracy and good practice Demonstrate an understanding and awareness of market dynamics and market cycle to enhance business performance Underwrite insurance risks in accordance with the business plan and the delegated underwriting authority to meet business objectives including: Negotiating rates terms and conditions for existing and new business, Compliance of production and issue of contract certainty documentation (non Lloyds), Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines, Ensuring contribution to the business plan and objectives,
