Full-Stack .NET/React Developer - Brussels - 12-month contract - Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)

Our client based in Brussels is currently looking for a full-stack developer with deep .NET and React expertise ready to bring modern engineering practices to a complex and impactful environment
We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a development team in Brussels, working on scalable, cloud-native applications built on Microsoft Azure.

This is an opportunity to work with a team that values clean architecture, DevOps maturity and continuous improvement where your technical depth will directly shape the quality and performance of critical applications.

Missions

- Translating application storyboards and use cases into robust, functional applications
- Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code
- Integrating data storage solutions (databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
- Ensuring optimal performance, quality and responsiveness across applications
- Identifying bottlenecks and bugs and devising effective solutions
- Maintaining code quality, organization and automation
- Collaborating with central teams to strengthen DevOps capability across development teams

Profile

- 5+ years of professional .NET development experience, including recent work with .NET Core/.NET 8-10 (or equivalent) and REST API development




- 3+ years of professional React development experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a professional context
- 2+ years of experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (YAML) and deployment strategies such as blue/green deployment
- Fluent English (spoken and written), minimum B2 level
- Willingness to work on-site at least 2 days/week in Brussels

You'll stand out with demonstrated experience in:

- Modern .NET practices (microservices architecture, feature flags, clean architecture)
- Software architecture and design patterns
- SQL and NoSQL databases in transactional or distributed systems
- Unit testing frameworks and coverage practices
- Git in collaborative environments
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) within Agile/DevOps workflows
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
- Adoption of new technologies, frameworks or modernisation initiatives
- AI-assisted development tools/IDEs (a plus)

The Assignment

- Location: Brussels (hybrid - minimum 2 days/week on-site)
- Contract type: Freelance/contract
- Rate: Up to €550/day
- Start: To be discussed
