Junior API/SOA Analyst

Requirements:

- 1+ years of experience in API and SOA principles, including loose coupling and microservices
- Requirements gathering and analysis, functional analysis, and alignment with Product Owners
- Agile and Scrum methodologies (EUP, RUP, Scrum, Kanban)
- REST and SOAP web services
- XML/JSON transformations and data modelling
- WSDL, SOAP, XML, XSD, XQuery, XPath, and XSLT
- Event-driven architecture and messaging patterns
- Testing methodologies using SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, and Postman
- Technical documentation and UML
- Version control using Git
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Mural, Miro, Jenkins, and ELK
- Experience with full web-application lifecycle in an SOA environment
- Secure build pipelines
- Higher education or equivalent through experience

Job description:

- Gather and analyse requirements in collaboration with Product Owners
- Conduct functional analysis and incorporate requirements into technical specifications
- Produce technical documentation using UML and data modelling techniques
- Support API and SOA development within Agile and Scrum frameworks
- Work with REST and SOAP web services, XML/JSON transformations, and messaging patterns
- Support testing activities using tools such as SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, and Postman
- Contribute to secure build pipelines and event-driven architecture implementations
- Maintain version control using Git and manage work items through Jira and Confluence
