As a Principal/lead water engineer in Worley’s Water team, you will steer technical delivery for municipal, industrial and energy-sector water projects across regions. You will act as a technical authority, shaping concepts through FEED and detailed design, and guiding commissioning and operational improvements.
Your work supports diverse clients in energy, chemicals, mining and infrastructure, delivering safe, high-quality solutions. This role offers broad exposure to water, wastewater, desalination and reuse projects in a global context.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Lead process engineering activities for water, wastewater, desalination, water reuse and industrial water treatment projects
- Provide technical leadership across concept, feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design phases
- Develop and review Process Design Basis, PFDs, Pu0026IDs, mass/energy balances, hydraulic calculations and process control philosophies
- Conduct technology assessments and optioneering studies
- Provide specialist support and troubleshooting for operating facilities
- Perform technical assurance reviews and independent checks
- Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and standards
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control)
- Support project managers with planning, resource forecasting and risk management
- Participate in client workshops, design reviews, HAZOPs, value engineering and commissioning planning
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as technical contact for key clients
- Support bids, tenders, and framework opportunities with technical input
Responsabilidades
- Significant experience in process engineering within the water sector
- Proven track record delivering complex water and wastewater projects
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience preparing and reviewing process engineering deliverables
- Desirable: desalination and water reuse experience
- Desirable: technical due diligence, owner's engineer or independent engineering experience
- Desirable: experience supporting bids and business development
- Willingness to travel, stay away from home and undertake site-based work
