In this role you will lead the expansion of AWS’s data centre portfolio from Madrid, shaping acquisition strategies and negotiating deals with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll collaborate across product, design, legal, and construction teams to evaluate targets and drive viable, cost-effective infrastructure growth.

Expect a mix of market analysis, deal structuring, and coordination to deliver high-impact data centre projects. This opportunity combines strategic influence with global travel and cross-functional collaboration to support AWS’s data center footprint and reliability goals.

- Evaluate, select, negotiate, and recommend acquisitions for approval
- Develop growth strategies for specific markets
- Coordinate with internal teams (product, energy, fibre, design, construction, legal, tax) to enable evaluation of targets




- Prepare and present transaction summaries to senior management on progress, approvals, and costs/benefits
- Manage multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously
- Travel internationally to support acquisitions

Responsabilidades

- Experience in real estate transactions
- Knowledge or experience in the data centre industry (colocation or hyperscale preferred)
- Ability to understand and communicate high-level technical requirements related to electrical, power u0026 cooling, fibre optics, and internet infrastructure
