DescriptionControlling Manager | Based in BarcelonaKantox runs on numbers that need to be right. As Controlling Manager, you will lead a team of two controllers and act as a key business partner to the CFOO, CCO, and CEO. You will own management accounting and forward-looking financial planning end to end: from P&L; forecasting and cash flow modelling to commercial controlling and process digitalization.You will work in tandem with our Accounting Manager, who leads financial accounting, balance sheet control, and actuals. Your focus is everything forward-looking and analytical.What you will work onTeam Leadership & GovernanceManaging, mentoring, and developing two direct reports: a Finance Controller and a Senior Commercial ControllerServing as the final review gate for internal management reporting, commercial performance reports, and monthly closing packagesPreparing core input materials for the CFOO, CCO, and CEO for Board of Directors presentations and BNP Paribas Group interactionsManagement Accounting & Financial ControllingLeading forward-looking P&L; modelling and driver-based forecasting across all revenue and cost lines from top-line down to EBITDAPartnering with the Accounting Manager to translate balance sheet and cash data into predictive cash flow models, proactively flagging risks and bottlenecksReviewing month-end P&L;, revenue, cost of sales, and operational expenses, analysing variances vs. budget and translating actuals into actionable insightsOverseeing monthly closing packages, BNP Paribas Group reporting, and regulatory filings to financial authorities including Banco de España and the FCACommercial Controlling & Business PartnershipDriving revenue projections for budget cycles and rolling forecasts with sales leadership,



alongside the definition of sales and CSM targetsPartnering directly with the CCO to build business cases, evaluate organisational changes, simulate variable retribution schemes, and run stress testsSupervising the sales commission and bonus calculation process through to final approvalOverseeing the revenue reporting package including waterfalls, commercial KPIs, and core SaaS metrics: CAC, LTV, payback, eMRR, and cohort analysesConducting deep-dive analyses into product and customer profitabilityProcess Optimisation & DigitalizationLeading the continuous optimisation, automation, and digitalization of controlling workflows, moving from manual data gathering to streamlined reportingCollaborating with Tech and Product to implement automated data pipelines, integrate internal systems, and expand Power BI dashboardsRefining financial policies, internal controls, and budget approval workflowsThe setupYou will be based in our Barcelona office in a hybrid model, reporting directly to the CFOO. You will work daily with commercial leadership, the Accounting team, and the Tech and Product functions. This is a senior role with direct influence on executive decision-making and a team of two direct reports to develop.Who you areYou have deep experience in FP&A; or controlling, you are comfortable in the detail and you know how to turn financial data into decisions.
